Monitoring progress at Taughmonagh Primary School

At Taughmonagh Primary School and Nursery Unit, we want to ensure each child progress to their individual levels and at a pace which embeds learning.

We monitor the progress in a range of ways:

  • Book Monitoring
  • Staff Meetings/discussions
  • Key Stage meetings
  • Planning
  • Data/outcomes
  • IEP/PLP Targets
  • Informal discussions
  • Parent involvement / meetings
  • Working with external agencies

Our pupils follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum - set in place by CCEA. Attached on this tab, includes an assessment/reporting document as well as the 'Big Picture' which provides an overview of our Curriculum.

Should you have any concerns about your child please contact the class teacher.
