Our Team

Our staff in Taughmonagh Nursery possess a wealth of knowledge, understanding and skills. We work together as a team and provide a positive, safe and secure environment for our children.

Mrs Scott

Mrs Scott joined our wonderful school in October 2025. She is the Nursery Co-ordinator and Nursery 1 Class Teacher and Parents Group Coordinator. She is vibrant, fun-loving and nurturing teacher, who enjoys working closely with parents/guardians. 

 Mrs Scott is extremely child centred and her work ethic is infectious. She loves working with the pupils in her care and has such a positive outlook on life. 

Miss Morgan

    

Miss Morgan is second in command in nursery. She has been teaching in Taughmonagh Nursery Unit since March 2022. She trained as a Primary School Teacher with an Early Years Specialism. She is a promoter of outdoor learning and loves to investigate with children in the outdoors.

Mis Morgan is a very creative, caring and kind person, who enjoys working alongside the community. She provides a nurturing environment and enjoys seeing the children develop at their own pace. She encourages them to be confident, positive and curious learners.

Miss Johnston

Miss Johnston is a Classroom Assistant in the Nursery who always has a smile on her face. She is always willing to get stuck in and nothing is too much bother for her. She is brilliant at creating fun activities and encouraging children to get active. Miss Johnston is a highly skilled educational practitioner, particularly, in the Early years and Foundation Stage. 

Miss Johnston is very caring and she is always is there to comfort children, parents and staff.  She promotes the wellbeing of our children first and is a true team player. She is always up for fun and making everyone feel warm and welcomed in the nursery.

Miss Campbell

Miss Campbell has worked in Taughmonagh Nursery for many years. She likes establishing relationships with the children. She is good at supporting and giving children freedom to find their independence.

Miss Campbell loves singing Nursery Rhymes and is very good at encouraging children to join in with the actions. She continues to develop her understanding and knowledge of early years, and is open to using new strategies and initiatives.
